It has now been over three years since conceptualizing this project. The latest news is I’m still in the middle of fundraising.

This may sound like a long time but it isn't anything out of the ordinary for an independent filmmaker.

You may not know the longest and toughest part of creating an independent film isn't the production phase. The longest and toughest challenge is raising the funds required to enable its completion.

Fundraising can take up to eighty to ninety percent of the process, meaning from conceptualization to completion.

My grassroots campaign entitled "The Six Million Pennies Challenge," is one in which I'm asking you to consider contributing your spare change toward meeting the fundraising goal.

I will stop by to pick up those pennies or other coins you likely throw into a jar or other container when you get home at the end of your day.

If you live outside of New York, scheduling an arrangment where I can come by to collect your spare change is improbable, but there are options.
